An MCN reader from Southampton has bagged a brand-new Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS super-naked by simply getting an insurance quote through MCN Compare.
Hannah Davis was the lucky winner from thousands of entries and took delivery of the 180.5bhp three-cylinder machine from the Destination Triumph Solent dealership in Fareham on Wednesday, April 29.

Revealed from beneath a cover in a small ceremony, it came finished in the ‘Granite/Diablo Red’ colour scheme – becoming the fourth rider to win a new motorcycle via an MCN Compare competition.
Speaking to MCN that evening, Davis expressed her delight and disbelief at the prize: “I sat there and looked at that email and thought is that actually real or is someone having a joke.”
Not from a motorcycling background, Hannah is the first in her family to get into bikes and added: “I just stood there looking at it in the dealership thinking ‘that’s mine now, great!’”
Alongside the motorcycle, Davis will also receive a AA-rated Furygan Sektor Roadster Evo jacket retailing for £239.99 and a £209.90 pair of K12 X Kevlar straight-cut jeans, rated to a AAA standard – keeping her safe and protected on the road.

The Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS retails from £17,695 and is the brand’s most powerful, and most advanced super-naked model to date.
It’s powered by an 1160cc 12v inline triple motor that has been refreshed and updated for Euro5+ regulations to now produce a claimed 180.5bhp at 10,750rpm – around 3bhp up on the outgoing version, first introduced in 2021.
It also gets incredibly sophisticated semi-active Öhlins suspension, plus an advanced suite of electronic rider aids including a four-stage front lift (wheelie) control system that allows you to unleash your inner hooligan where safe, without fear of disappearing off the back.
It’s a bike we’re very fond of here at MCN, praising its ability on both the road and track during its world launch last year in and around Portimao Circuit in Portugal.
“It’ll drive out of corners with savage intent, with the front wheel dangling on the customisable wheelie control or hold your hand in sub-standard conditions as a docile, comfy three-cylinder roadster,” we said at the time.

“And then there’s the noise. My word, what a riot. It doesn’t grumble like a twin or scream like an inline four – instead delivering a unique velvety purr that’s audible at almost any revs and just encourages you to wind on a little extra right wrist.”
We liked it so much in fact that we’ve put one on our 2026 long-term test fleet – with News Editor, Dan Sutherland putting it through its paces across 2026.
We have now launched a new competition at MCN Compare, giving you the chance to kit out your dream garage. We’ve got two £6000 Machine Mart vouchers to give away – all you need to do is get an insurance quote on mcncompare.com and opt-in to the contest. Good luck!
